@merlinmaja1 i downgraded my nvidia drivers and the issue is gone for now

Thanks for the tip! That's good to know and may be worth a try for anyone still running into this if those initial steps don't do the trick.Nothing fun about having to downgrade to play Apex, just to have to upgrade it again to play anything else.
