Keep in mind that unlinking a platform account pretty much guaranteed data loss due to account data being stored on the EA account.

If you do not care about the progress on your Steam account then it would be the best course of action to unlink the Steam account and link it to to the other EA account.

Since you're unable to unlink that Steam account, the easiest solution would be to make a different Steam account, though I presume you really want to use your existing Steam account?

If the steps in that guide don't help with unlinking, then I'd recommend to contact EA Support.
