Re: What to do if your Apex Legends account got banned or suspended

All the following content is based on my personal observations of recent ban cases found online and my conversations with other players who claim to have been wrongfully banned. (Until EA provides detailed reasons, I am proceeding on the basis that these players' accounts of being wrongfully banned are accurate.)

EA’s current handling of bans seems to follow two distinct paths:

First, bans that appear to be issued based on specific account anomalies. These typically involve a backend check. If the account meets certain criteria (like a visible login from a different location), it gets unbanned quickly, regardless of the appeal's content. I've even heard of cases where appeals with zero constructive information were successful simply because the system error was obvious. However, if your case doesn't fit these specific backend flags, providing evidence seems to lead nowhere.

Second, and more concerning, is the situation that emerged after the anti-cheat detection model update late last year. I suspect many recent victims are trapped here.

EAC’s new logic seems to flag "abnormal behavior" based on data thresholds. But what is "abnormal"? Based on my research, simply playing Bot Royale for extended periods or dealing high damage in Custom Modes (like "Zombie" mini-games with friends) can trigger a ban. The system sees high numbers and assumes cheating, ignoring the game mode's context.

From what I’ve gathered, bans triggered by EAC data are currently almost impossible to overturn. The review process seems to prioritize the automated flag over any human evidence submitted. It feels as if the logic is: "The system flagged you, therefore you are guilty." There appears to be a total lack of a secondary, human-led verification for these data-driven bans.

Finally, there is an unannounced limit on appeals. After a few attempts—whether it’s 3, 7, or 10—the appeal channel simply closes. You are left with no way to speak. This might be a way for them to manage ticket volume, but it leaves innocent players in a dead end.

I am sharing these speculations to say this: If you’ve been wrongly banned and your appeals keep failing (assuming you’ve done nothing wrong), it might be time to stop this exhausting cycle and move on. This situation has been a massive blow to the trust we once had in this game. After everything, it’s time to face the reality of how we are being treated.

Nothing helps, support is more than useless. They spam same template every time and that's it. I don't cheat yet my account was permanently banned after recent updates to anti-cheat, clearly they broke their anti-cheat which started to give false positive but it seems like from their point of view that anti-cheat works fine but it doesn't. Now my account and many others are banned with no actual investigation regarding this issue. I tried to be civilized but these people from EA support are just incompetent and I'm starting to lose my temper.
