Re: Why did EA ban me for purchasing a new Valkyrie Heirloom?

Just a quick question:

I live in Myanmar and my EA account has always been under Singapore region since I have started playing Apex Legends. Never had issues with previous purchases.

I noticed something this time.

SG store has an on-going Summer Sale until July 7.

When I purchased apex coins, I was offered a discounted price.

10,000 coins + 1,500 coins - SGD $130.00 - becomes SGD $91.00 after 30% discount

2,000 coins + 150 coins - SGD $32.00 - becomes SGD $22.40 after 30% discount

Could this be a reason why I got banned?

EA might think that I don't live in Singapore so I shouldn't enjoy the promotion.

To be honest, I don't even want a discount. They can charge me full amount. I can pay for it. Discount was auto given at a checkout and I cannot change or do anything about it.

I will be going back to Singapore next month.
It's just that I purchased the coins during my stay here and it happened to be during promotion period.
I wish I can explain more in the ticket.
But unfortunately I cannot add comments on the ticket.

so you used steam to purchase.
I do not know how that works or does not work (I am an Origin user) and how regions for steam wallet etc really function and if it could be a problem or not. Someone smarter than me would have to answer that question.

no I am on origins.
I purchased the coins from the origins store (in-game).
Origins Singapore Store has an on-going summer sale.

what does this mean?
does this mean that my ban has been already lifted?

I am at work so I am not able to check if I can play now.
From the ban history, it seems like the ban has been already lifted. I no longer see "active ban" on my account.
