I've also been having this issue. I've tried every suggestion I can find, nothing has helped.
Reinstalling/repairing EAC, reinstalling/repairing apex
Disabled all the core isolation options
Disabling bypassio for a drive
Disabling bypassio for the apex and EAC exe
Reinstalled windows 11 twice and tried both 23h2 and 24h2
Tried installing apex on a sata ssd, pcie3 nvme and pcie4 nvme
Changing storage drivers from MS default to Samsung drivers (990 pro doesn't have Samsung drivers)
All the compatibility options for both the apex and EAC exe
Uninstalling anything that hooks game exe's (MSI afterburner, Geforce Experience etc.)
I'm sure I've tried more, but the results are the same.
Yeah unfortunately like OsoEllis said this problem can really only be fixed by EAC. And they have no direct means of contacting them, I submitted a ticket to Epic Games as they own EAC and got 2 basic reply's about trying the basic trouble shooting methods on their support website, which all of them I've tried and, they locked the ticket.
I don't really have any idea what to do other then just waiting for them to fix it when/if it becomes a more wide spread issue.
