  • @Longstaffx I've been searching the internet for info on this since it started yesterday for me, I upgraded to a 2080ti from a 1080ti a week ago, and it was fine up until yesterday, then that SAME issue started.

I was super worried at first cause having been around PCs for a very long time, that's usually a sure sign the GPU is going to bad or going to die, but to my surprise it doesn't happen in ANY other game I've tried (spent a few hours yesterday trying at least 12 different games, playing some for a few hours each).

Searching the web found that RTX users have suffered this issue in Apex, and no other game as far I can tell. Devs need to get with nvidia and figure something out, as this is pretty annoying for people who've invested in high end RTX cards and enjoy playing this game, and it's definitely not a isolated thing.

This is unlikely to be a hardware issue. Please let us know how you get on with the following troubleshooting:

    • Right click the game in Origin and then Repair
    • Run your GPU driver setup again and choose Advanced installation and then select clean install and deselect the optional GeForce Experience and any other components you will not be using
    • Run System File Checker to ensure the integrity of your Windows System files: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
    • Download and install any available Windows Updates

    Thanks.

  • @EA_Barry i hope this doesn't sound rude but if you could talk with amd to optimize the game for us amd users, that would be cool.
