Community AdminThe Awakening Collection event patch has me crashing during launch for Apex Legends on Steam.
I have gone through with troubleshooting fixes on the help site. Reinstalling the game, updating graphics drivers, game file integrity check, firewall exceptions, easy anti-cheat priority set to low, and capping framerates to 60. I have also tried setting the game to windowed mode. None of these fixes have worked.
Crashing timelines goes: Launch game on Steam, white screen comes up with black boxes on opposite corners, black screen, game crashes.
PC Specs:
AMD Ryzen 6 2600
48GB RAM
GTX 1650 Super
Installed on SSD
you can fix the white screen by removing reticle custom colors in your command line arguments.
Several weeks later tha game is still unplayable. My graphic drivers are up to date. What a shame.
I did the same thing as you and my game crashes every time the Welcome to Gaiden pop up message pops up. I managed to squeeze one game in but then froze after that.
