Severe connection issues on pc battle royale servers

Since the beginning of season 9 I have been getting some rough lag spikes from time to time. The spikes are indicated by the in-game performance tracker by a ping of 110-270 ms and packet loss higher...

Hi there, @alatrius.

We can go through some connection troubleshooting to see if any issues can be found. What system do you play on and do you use a wired or wireless connection? Thanks!

I play an steam on a windows 10 pc and use a wireless connection. My setup and surroundings have been unchanged since well before the current season and I was not experiencing this issue until this season just to be clear. As an added note a wired connection is completely unavailable to me.

    It’s not terribly far, maybe 40-50 feet or so but the main issue is that I don’t have a viable route to run the cable. My wireless connection is pretty strong and I don’t have any issues with the connection normally.
