game crash to main menu

Sorry to hear you’re running into this issue, and no worries at all about reporting it here.

If the game is crashing back to the main menu while sorting cosmetics in the Legend Locker, that’s definitely useful information. If you haven’t already, please try the following:

• Avoid sorting cosmetics repeatedly for now and check whether the issue occurs only with specific items.
• Repair or verify the game files through your platform client.
• If you’re on PC, temporarily disable overlays or background tools and test again.
• If possible, let us know whether this happens every time in the Legend Locker or only occasionally.

If you’re able to narrow it down to a specific cosmetic, filter, or sorting action, that would be especially helpful.  If possible, please also share a DxDiag Report, as that may help narrow things down further.

I verified game files and I think I did the DxDiag report but I've never done one before so idk if it was successful. Game is still crashing.

Some additional details:

• it happens to both legends and gun skins
• happens when you click w/ mouse AND pressing tab to sort
• ONLY if "random favorite" is selected 

you can have skins tagged as favorites and it won't crash as long as you don't have "random favorite" selected as your skin choice

clicking this OR pressing tab will crash the game, but there is a slight delay (maybe a second or two) between pressing tab and then receiving the error screen.

If you have not already, the main things worth trying would be:

• Perform a clean reinstall of both the Intel and NVIDIA graphics drivers.
• Check for the latest BIOS, chipset, and firmware updates from Lenovo for this model.
• Temporarily disable overlays or monitoring tools such as GeForce overlay, Discord overlay, MSI Afterburner, or RTSS.
• Test again without any overclock, undervolt, or aggressive performance tuning.
