Shaders downloading every time I open the game

Every single time I log into the game it downloads the shaders. It takes really long and its annoying. Is it an issue with the game, the files, something like that or is it just normal?

    Hey @merlinmaja1,

    This should typically just happen the first time you launch the game after the patch, but we have seen a number of other reports that this continues through multiple launches.

    The workaround below has helped some others in this situation so that may be worth a try.

    1.) Install latest drivers 
    2.) Disable the Shader Cache option in your graphics card settings (e.g. Nvidia Control Panel, you can right-click your desktop to open this)
    3.) Hit apply
    4.) Enable Shader Cache
    5.) Hit apply
    6.) Restart Computer

    We're still currently investigating this as those steps don't help out in all cases, but hopefully that clears things up for you for the time being.

    @EA_Mako Hey, it doesn't help. Also i've reinstall the game, try download it in steam and origin. Reinstall nvidia drivers, tried clean install. And still the same. Game downloads the shaders every time. It's so annoying...

    Thanks for giving those steps a try. We're still currently investigating this situation as those steps don't help out in all cases.

    Please make this a top priority to fix! Waiting 10 minutes to play the game every time I load it is getting tedious now!

    do you have any auto cleaner program or task scheduler that cleans the temp/cache files from your system ?!

    Thanks for the tip! That's good to know and may be worth a try for anyone still running into this if those initial steps don't do the trick.

    Nothing fun about having to downgrade to play Apex, just to have to upgrade it again to play anything else.
