Seems like other people are reporting this in Season 12 as well.

Yep, happening to me, lower fps on all maps, and insane usage of my specs, for compassion, rust running at pretty much the max settings is taking 40% gpu and 30 cpu, apex is taking 90% gpu and 85 percent cpu, and my fps is around 70
