I did everything I thought would fix this issue and it still shows trailer...AND like I said some of my settings keep resetting
I've also been having this issue on both origin and steam version, nobody has ever given a real solution, I am adamant that the file that remembers you have seen it is set as read only, so the game doesn't save the change, but I do not know which file that is. I have similar issues with the performance display setting, that always turns to off whenever I restart my game, and would like to know where the config file for that lies as well.
So I found a way to "fix" this issue finally
I had to reformat my computer because it's been a while and everything was pretty messy. So upon reinstalling Steam and Apex I no longer have this problem.
reinstalling Steam/Apex seemed to have fixed the problem for me but that was after a reformat so there were no old steam files.
Maybe have to uninstall steam, steamapps AND remove subsequent folders then reinstall steam and games and it should work
