Stuck at 40% during download.

For some reason every time i try to install Apex Legends on my PC on origin, It keeps getting stuck on 40% and saying preparing to launch i dont know why because I am trying to download and not even ...

Did you try to change your install location
I just figure out
I have the exact problem with you , tried everything last night (C++ Reinstall origin...etc)
Just change the install location and it works lol
Hope it helps

Do I need to change it to somewhere specific? I have 2 Hard Drives and have tried installing on both anddid'nt work. Any suggestions?

    Try this:

    Flush DNS:

    Windows 10

    1. Hold down the Windows Key and press X.
    2. Click Command Prompt (Admin).
    3. When the command prompt opens, type ipconfig/flushdns and press Enter.
    4. Type ipconfig /registerdns and press Enter.
    5. Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
    6. Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
    7. Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
    8. Reboot your computer.

    Clear temp files:

    Navigate to where your drives and dvd drives are, then right click the C drive and open properties.

    Click disk cleanup and follow thw prompts
