Stutter/crash.

Sinds i have my new pc i'm having issues that occur random. Sometimes i play for houres withoud any issues... sometimes it keep goin.

Is my new hardware faulty or is it the game?

Sometimes out of nothing my fps and ms starts goin up and down fast and it makes the game stutter extreme.

Its never the fps only its always the fps and ms at the same time.....    if my new videocard is broken it shoulld be the fps only right? Or am i wrong and should i contact the seller?

And sometimes no stutter just a sudden dark screen and a forced restart ( apex only ) i played asscreed origin for houres and dying light on ultra for houres withoud issues.

Anyone?

  • @EzyHawk its no longer relevant m8. Thank you for your help.

After a forced restart during game the eventvwr sayd a processorcore failed..

This is where it ends for me. I have contacted the seller and they are goeing to build me a new pc and exchange it for this one..

    Thanks again.

I would say if you play AC Origin for ours on ultra without issues it's mostly not a broken GPU.
But let's start with the basic, Could you tell me what hardware your pc have?
Also, could verify that all drivers and OS is up-to-date?
  • @EzyHawk I used geforce overlay during matches and saw that it was indeed nog my gpu that was acting weird. For some reason when the game starts stuttering ( fps and ms fluxuating between 140 and 20 rapidly ) my cpu usage goes up to 100%. And stays like that untill the fps calms down and goes back to a steady 149.

I'm on my phone right now.. but my specs are

    Amd ryzen 7 8500x
    Inno3d rtx 3070 ichill x4
    32g ddr4 hyper x 3200mhz
  • @EzyHawkMy pc is brand new... and it was send empty withoud operating systems.... should i turbo boost the cpu?

( i am no computer specialist or not even close to a beginner..... but the package of the cpu says it has a turbo boost.. from 3.8 to 4.7 )

    @Heli0sH00K Thats not the issue,
Could you verify that your drivers are all up-to-date, latest chipset, gpu drivers etc.
And verify if you have any Windows 10 Updates waiting for installation?
    "ryzen 7 8500x" do you mean Ryzen 7 5800X?
Do you know what motherboard you running?
  • @EzyHawk yes 5800x sorry.
    Motherboard: MSI X570-A PRO
    Power: 750 Watt Cooler Master
    Cooling: Cooler Master MA410P

Power and temprature stay stable during game.

    Windows 10 has no updates.
Geforce Experience Says Latest drivers installed.

Dont know how to check any other updates or chipsets?

all those driver programs come from weird websites that i dont trust.
  • @EzyHawk i checked IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers in Hardware tab.

there where 3 the same and they all say latest drivers have been installed
