Was able to play games by using the "waiting-to-drop" method but, anyone here also experiencing high input lag? Like all of my keys are delayed lol even though the GPU and CPU are normal.
Either you get stuttering match or a 200 ping even though the server is only 1 city away. Come on, respawn. Do something.
At this point I'm pretty much convinced that this game is broken and unplayable. lol

At this point I'm pretty much convinced that this game is broken and unplayable. lolOn all 3 formats I play Apex (Xbox One,PS4,PS5) I always seem to be affected that awful delay when picking up items/weapons & when opening chests which can be infuriating when teammates & enemies swipe the very items/weapons you're trying to pick up yourself but are hindered by delay which I'd say is possibly high input lag.
I've always been a huge fan of Apex from the characters to the story-lines,the in-game banter between characters to the brilliantly trailers showcasing new characters, seasons etc that build up high levels of anticipation among us as to what is coming. And as I mentioned in a previous comment when Apex is at it's best (without issues) it is probably the best multiplier out there. It is just a shame for me that the game has hit a wall due to persistent issues,a wall that the game devs can't seem to climb or knock down.Plenty of us loyal players have experienced similar performances issues several seasons ago & pointed them out but were largely ignored. So it comes as no surprise these issues were only going to get worse & not better & just sweeping them under the carpet hoping they'd disappear was never going to be the solution.
And as @Snowe_asuka rightly mentions playing Apex in the unplayable/broken state caused by stability issues becomes a battle in its own right let alone fighting against the completely unbalanced match-making issues & with increased volume of players using aimbot & other cheats.

We need a fix for 100% CPU usage!!! Limiting cores/power supply IS NOT FIXING IT.

Just attempted to play Arenas this evening & the whole performance issues were just brutal although the ping remained at around 40ms throughout the game the amount of stuttering & screen clipping was terrible.& my character kept drifting,rubber-banding & moving without touching my controller. And when I kept trying to adopt the old peek-aboo approach (crouching on the corner of a building/object taking pop-shots) whilst exchanging gunfire with the enemy my character would just suddenly drift away from the building as getting sucked in by an imaginary Horizon's Black Hole Ultimate. The whole game just felt terrible & painful to endure but through blind loyalty to my teammates quitting just wasn't an option but having to grind out a game in such appalling conditions does leave me questioning my appetite for the game (mainly because the game is unplayable with no resolution in sight it seems).
I did hear speculation from several Apex You-Tubers that the whole furore around server issues dogging the game throughout Season 9may be resolved for the start of Season 10 in August. They both claim from insiders involved in the game that neither EA or Respawn own the servers that Apex is played on.In fact the servers are owned & leased by a company called Multiplay where EA signed a 6 year contract to use their servers for Apex & both Titanfall games. The 6 year contract apparently ends in August & leaves EA with the option to (either) re-sign with with Multiplay which one would assume to be problematic for future seasons due to the fact the consistent server problems that have dogged Season 9 could cause the same issues in Season 10 & beyond. It is well known in the industry that Apex (on Multiplay servers) is one of the lowest 'tick rate' performing multiplayer games at 20hz compared to other games such as Fortnite;30hz, Overwatch;60hz with Valorant;128hz (the highest performing game). The lower the 'tick rate' of a game the more problems ie performance issues, unresponsiveness & other issues as well as packet loss being more common. When the contract ends the speculation is that EA could cut ties with Midway & either provide servers of their own or negotiate leasing servers from an alternate company with less problematic servers.Fingers crossed either way.
Apologies for the long-winded message (phewww!)
