it making me so mad. so expesive pc, so much money used in that game and i cant play cuz my PC is like turbojet- ULTRA LOUD
In the aftermath of mass outages across EA servers this afternoon preventing players from playing games like Apex,Fifa.Madden etc I attempted to play a few Arena matches but quite frankly I wished I hadn't (the stuttering & in game freezing was appalling).I've resigned myself to the fact that persistent performance issues & unstable servers are an everyday feature in the game now.The game is just so problematic I've deleted the game with no intention of re-installing it as I have no faith whatsoever anything will be fixed in the game.
What was once probably one of the best online shooters several seasons ago is now nothing but an empty shell of what it used to be but with more cheaters than ever.

If anyone is having FPS issues on Steam/Origin I recommend this video but I’m going to be honest I’m still trying to tweak the files myself because he has texture streaming budget on 0 and I don’t like having to turn it on manually everytime I get on other than that I have been getting solid frames compared to usual
(now Im geting 50-60 I have it capped at 58 because my monitor is a tv usually i only get like 30-40) basically results will vary someone said they went from 120 fps up to 160 fps and others said it didn’t change anything
Note: I only did the settings.cfg, autoexec, and steam launch options so the rest of the video is kinda optional imo but up to you and its at your own risk and I wasnt sure what disabling high precision event timer would do in device manager so I just decided to leave it enabled for now and will do some tests later
if anyone has the brains to figure out how to edit the exec file to not automatically turn texture streaming budget on 0 I would appreciate the info ... someone in the comments said to just delete the line Stream_memory0 but I tried deleting that and all other ‘’Stream’’ lines
- @TheApexLegendNub i don't know if this will be a fix to the stuttering problem... and playing with switch graphics with my pc.... isn't an option for me, i don't know the others here but.... ahhhhh.... feels bad to play in that way ... devs should fix this... not us
- @Redmattgame i understand you completely, i don't leave the game just cause the money i've spend on ... and because apex is the only FPS that i feel good to play in a long term... BF and others like COD feels good just 2 or 3 days, after that get boring has hell ahahahh, hope when this get fixed (if one they get) you come back and have fun too
