I'm checking the server status for the time before, around, and after you posted and not seeing any issues.
Just because it has worked in the past does not mean that it is not a network or ISP-based issue.
Your router updating can result in changes being made to it or settings being changed.
I'm only trying to help you get to the bottom of the issue you are seeing.

@EA_Darko equally as apex has had server issues in the past, it does not mean the server issues have dissappeared, and you can go back to blaming my WiFi or isp.
As I said fortnite didn't have any issues.

I'm not sure what Fortnite has to do with it @OldTreeCreeper. Every game is different, just because one game works does not mean that all others well or that the issue is not a result of the home network or ISP.
If you are not interested in help to troubleshoot the issue then you can ignore my posts above and the help I'm offering. I'm simply trying to help you and others seeing this issue rule out things like the home network.

@EA_Darko we were in the same lobby on the same WiFi, ytl was dc and I was able to play the arena game. Then ytl was dc with a timeout, then immediately able to log into fortnite while I was still playing Apex arenas. Not sure really how you could point to the home network as being the issue.

Multiple people on the same wifi @OldTreeCreeper is a recipe for disconnection and connection issues.
A disconnection does not mean your internet is down, it can be that the bandwidth is not available for you or others to continue, it can be due to routing, ports not being open, etc.
You can be disconnected in-game and still logged into the EA account online and online in the game menus.
