Two xbox players unable to play together on same wifi

Two xbox players are unable to play on the same wifi... some of the time. Some days we get like 2 to 5 games in and then it stops working. It kicks one player back to the lobby. Sometimes, and this is super weird, the player who wasnt kicked will play as the other player. Issue doesn't  occur on any other games.

Any suggestions or advice would be great.

  • Hi @alucarddrs

I've seen some cases like this where an IP address conflict is preventing both consoles from connecting at the same time. When you've got a chance I'd recommend setting a static IP address for both of the Xbox systems to see if that helps.

The Port Forward website has a pretty detailed article on how to set up a static IP for an Xbox One. Let me know if you're still running into the same issues after that. Thanks!

    Hey again @alucarddrs

Were you able to try setting up a static IP address? Are you still having any trouble playing together on your network?
