Unable to connect to EA servers / Connection to server timed out (code:leaf)
Issue:
When I try to enter the game, I get a prompt saying "Attempting connection (# of 9)" (attached image 1).
Most of the time it ends with "Unable to connect to EA servers. Please check your internet connection and try again." (attached image 2).
Very rarely (like 1 in 5 attempts) I'm able to get into the game and play 1 or 2 (max) matches and get kicked out back to the main menu after completing the match with another error message saying "Connection to server timed out (code:leaf)." (attached image 3). When this happens, I lose all the progress I made during that match for my battlepass missions.
- I've been facing this issue since 3rd April (I'm playing on PC - Steam).
- I'm on wired connection (ethernet).
Things I have tried:
1. Restarting my PC.
2. Restarting my router.
3. flushing DNS.
4. Changing DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
5. Verifying integrity of game files.
6. Installing / Uninstalling EA app.
7. Changing Data Centers.
