Unable to connect to EA servers only when launching Apex Legends through Steam
Apex Legends connects to the EA servers normally when I launch it through the EA App on the same PC and network. However, when I launch the game through Steam, I receive the following error:
“Unable to connect to EA servers.”
I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:
- Changed my DNS settings
- Reinstalled Apex Legends
- Installed the game on a different drive
- Verified the integrity of the game files through Steam
- Reinstalled the anti-cheat software
- Cleared the Steam download cache
- Reset the Steam htmlcache folder
- Reset the Apex Legends user settings folder
- Cleared the EA App cache
Since the EA App version works normally, the issue seems to be specifically related to Steam authentication or the connection between my Steam account and EA account.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Has anyone found a solution?
