Unable to gift items even though account meets all criteria

I’ve got enough apex coins and I’ve set up the login verification for my account but it says 5/5 gifts left but it’s grey so I can’t actually press on it. And I’ve had the friend I want to gift for at least 2 months and I’m over level 50.

    Hey stuartsmith04,

    Gifting is currently disabled so we can address some bugs, which is likely the reason you're having trouble here since it sounds like the criteria are otherwise met. 

    We'll update that thread as soon as we have any information about how or when this will be returning, thanks for the patience!

    Have you ever had an account action? (e.g. Mute, Suspension/Ban)

    Per the Gift guidelines, have an account in good standing. (Not sure what can cause an account not to be in good standing except for actual account actions, though it may extend further beyond that)

    So if you ever were actioned on that EA account (May it be on PC or on a Console platform), then it could explain why you cannot send gifts.

    Though if not, it's likely something else, in that case I would not know why.
