Unable to play/launch Apex Legends

8gb ram
GPU: AMD R9280x
CPU: AMD FX8320 @4ghz

Windows 10 Pro. 

Before the most recent patch I was able to open the game but changing any settings would cause the game to crash and then BSOD. Found a workaround and finally got into the tutorial, after 5 minutes, the game crashed but no BSOD. 
After the most recent patch, The game does the usual startup (EasyAntiCheat thing) then immediately my screen starts to flicker with the create texture2d error and then BSOD with the same error as before. I've tried reinstalling windows. I've tried different versions of windows and different build versions of windows 10 pro. I've tried reinstalling the game, repairing the game, reinstalling origin and reinstalling EasyAntiCheat, reinstalling GPU drivers and trying optional and rolling back drivers and none has made even a little difference. I only get these issues with Apex Legends. I also play PUBG, Dota 2, CS:GO, HoTS and Brawlhalla and none are crashing or resulting in any bluescreens. I am almost 100% certain that the issue is with the game especially since the most recent patch has actually made it now impossible to even get into the game. I really hope a fix will come soon so I can actually try the game, watching all the hype and having to get experience through only twitch streams and youtube videos is kinda lackluster and disappointing.
