Unable to switch to a secondary monitor

I have two monitors like a lot of people these days. Apex though will ONLY play on my main display. With battlefield I put it from 4k to 2k, by just selecting monitor 2... then I'll be able to play my FPS games on a 2k 144hz monitor. It works great! But Apex doesn't do this. No matter what I do, it will always snap back to my main 4k display. Either add an option to select what display you want or allow an annoying put it to windowed drag it to the 2nd monitor and put it to full screen.. Please!

    1. Set the display mode to Borderless Window
    2. Use Win+Shift+Left/Right arrow to change displays.

  • Was looking forward to moving on from warzone and playing something new. Downloaded apex upon hearing good things. Open up the game to find it has issues with dual monitor setups. I refuse to change my setup to cater to your game. Your game caters to our needs. When people stop playing this game because of EA inability to make something work properly, they will fix this huge issue. So, in all, I wasted time downloading this trash game that doesn't even work with dual monitors. Hey EA, it's 2021 baby. Step up your game. You just lost an all time customer and supporter with this negligence. I will never purchase or download a free game that is associated with EA ever again. You just lost my business. There is no solution, there is no me. Should have fixed your game when thousands of people had problems.

  • I had success moving the monitor using the windows + shift + arrow but my resolution option in game was limited to 1080p (my non-gaming monitor's max resolution). Go to Settings then click display and make your desired monitor the main display by simply checking the box under multiple displays.
