Unfair Apex Legends Account Ban Appeal - Urgent Request for Reconsideration

Dear EA Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am typing to the appeal the permanent ban that was unjustly imposed on my Apex Legends account on January 17th, 2023.

I have been an avid player and a loyal supporter of Apex Legends for over 3 years and the sudden loss of my account has been devastating. Despite my numerous attempts to dispute the ban, the TOS have decided not to reverse the decision, despite providing substantial evidence to prove that I was indeed hacked.

I understand that account security is utmost important and I have taken every measure to ensure the security of my account. However, I believe that my account was compromised by an unauthorized third party on and near the date of the ban. Since then I have taken several steps to secure my account further including changing the password, 2FA, linked accounts, etc.

Throughout the entire process, i have submitted over 10 ban appeals attaching ample proof and documentation but each attempt has been met with rejection. This has left me deeply frustrated and disheartened, as I feel my genuine situation has not been given the careful consideration it deserves.

I kindly request the TOS team to reevaluate my case with a fresh perspective, taking into account the evidence I have provided. Attached are some images that prove that I was indeed hacked and that I was not using my PC during that week (As I had Examinations).

I want to emphasize that I have never engaged in any behaviour that would violate the terms of conditions set by your company or any rules set forward by Apex Legends.

My love for the game and respect for the community have always guided my actions within the game. The unfortunate incident of my account being hacked were beyond my control and I am earnestly seeking your help to rectify this situation.

I am more than willing to co-operate further with any steps required to demonstrate my innocence. Please know that the restoration my account would not only bring immense joy but also reaffirm my faith in the Apex Legends community and the dedication of the EA team.

Sincerely,

Milanor10

  • Hi! Just for further proof that I was indeed hacked, attached are the email conversation between me through my personal email ID ([edit: email address removed]) and the Genshin Impact (Mihoyo) support team. The hackers had targeted my Genshin Impact account too.

Also after almost 6 months of investigations they concluded that I was indeed hacked and my account was restored.

Hence, I urge the EA team to priortise my case above as I know the TOS have made their final decision as they have made their 3 reviews. For which I do not blame them personally but would like the EA team to escalate this case and provide a special review.

    Thank you.

The EA staff who work here on AHQ cannot help you directly with account-related issues, such as bans, only the TOS team can help you there.

It is my understanding that you can appeal a ban a number of times, 3 I think. Once that is decided the ban is more than likely permanent.

Thank you for your response and for guiding me through the appropriate channels. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by my previous posts and for inadvertently sharing personal information. I have now edited the content to remove all sensitive details.

Regarding my account ban, I understand that the AHQ staff cannot directly handle account-related issues like bans and that the TOS team has the final authority in such matters. I have already appealed the ban multiple times, and I acknowledge that it has been confirmed as permanent.

While I remain deeply disappointed with the outcome, I respect your team's decision. If there are no further avenues for appeal, I will accept the ban's permanence.

I would like to express my gratitude for your assistance and understanding throughout this process. Despite the unfortunate outcome, I want to assure you that I hold no ill will towards the EA team or the Apex Legends community.

If there are any other guidelines or policies I should be aware of, please let me know, as I aim to be a responsible and constructive member of the community moving forward.

Thank you again for your time and attention to this matter

I don't think you have missed anything. But I will put up standard links to the guidelines for you, so you can look through it.

    Best of luck.

All the available information relating to your ban would have been communicated to you via the email associated with your EA account.

You can also check out your ban history here, but please note not all bans may appear here:

If you feel you have been incorrectly banned, the only thing you can do is to dispute any action taken against your EA account by following the steps in this article:

    https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/information-about-banned-or-suspended-accounts/

There is also this AHQ guide on bans and suspensions :

It is my understanding that you can appeal a ban a number of times.

I think there is a problem with your ban on my APEX account. I have not engaged in any behavior that harms the game rules, and all game data of my APEX are normal data. You are not qualified to take measures to ban my account
