Unstable FPS & Poor Optimization on i9-14900HX + RTX 5070 Ti Laptop

Sometimes when I launch the game and enter the firing range, the FPS only hovers around 250, even though I’ve set the max FPS to 280. The game also feels very inconsistent in terms of input response at this point. I have to restart the game to get it into a stable working state — sometimes once, sometimes twice — after which the FPS in the firing range will hold steady at 279 without dropping. I’m trying to figure out what causes this inconsistent feel, as it has a huge impact on players like me who demand a high level of consistency in-game.

I’m also having a really uncomfortable experience playing on Olympus: the FPS drops to around 200, with 1% lows as low as 90–110, which makes the game feel unplayable. I would really appreciate better optimization for the game.

I’m currently playing on a laptop with an i9-14900HX CPU and an RTX 5070 Ti GPU, but it performs worse in this game than my 4-year-old desktop (i5-12400F + RTX 3060).with all low setting

Currently there are many reports about the performance of this season. Thankfully, it is being analyzed from the developers' side. In the meantime, if you disable hyperthreading in your BIOS, the performance will improve — other users with 14th gen Intel CPUs have reported that this works.

    Take care, Happy-Maarv.
