Re: Apex Legends Integrity Error 0x80000001 After Recent Patch
After further testing I found something very important regarding this issue
I turned off the sharpness option from AMD Software and now the game is not crashing and runs normally
However when I enable AMD Radeon Image Sharpening again the game crashes with Integrity error 0x80000001
This clearly shows that the crash is directly related to AMD sharpening and not a general system issue
I want to mention that I use sharpening because it gives extra clarity during gameplay and without it the game looks blurry and not as good
Because of this issue I went through a lot of unnecessary troubleshooting steps
I thought it was a storage issue so I uninstalled many software from my PC
I also deleted my entire Dragon Ball Super season from my system thinking it might fix the problem
I even removed Epic Games Launcher and EA App and reinstalled everything
After doing all this I realized that the issue is only happening when AMD sharpening is enabled
This is very frustrating because the game was working perfectly fine before the recent update and this problem started only after the patch
I have already tried all common fixes like verifying files reinstalling the game repairing Easy Anti Cheat updating and rolling back drivers clearing cache and disabling overlays but nothing fixed the issue
The only workaround right now is disabling sharpening which is not ideal because it makes the game look blurry and reduces gameplay clarity
From my understanding this error happens when the game or Easy Anti Cheat fails integrity checks or detects a conflict with drivers or external features ()
This appears to be a compatibility issue between Easy Anti Cheat and AMD driver features introduced after the recent update
Please investigate this issue as it appears to be affecting AMD users
I request you to confirm if this is a known problem and provide a fix as soon as possible
Thank you
