Update stuck in Verifying Game Files

THE FIX --> Uninstall Origin and then reinstall it. This fixed it for me.
The Update is stuck in Verifying Game Files. It says it is downloaded but I cannot play. It shows Apex Legends Complete with Green Check on Origin. I go to play and it does a Verify Game Files and then this infinite loop just goes over and over and over.
I have logged out, shut down, restarted, nothing has worked.
I uninstalled the origin client and re-installed it, now it seems to work.
Maybe you can try:1. De-install origin client via Windows System Settings.
2. Download the client again from here: https://www.origin.com/deu/en-us/store/download and re-install it
Important: You need to re-install the origin client, not the apex game.
