Using the same account to play together on Apex.

My EA account is linked to my Xbox and Playstation. My son is currently playing on the Xbox and I use the Playstation. Is there a way for us to play on the same team in Apex? Currently it doesn't seem to allow us to make a friend request. I assume it has something to due with both consoles being linked to the same EA account. I know we CAN play together as we have had randoms invite us both to the same squad. I don't want to unlink accounts as both have paid content added that we don't wish to lose. Thanks for any help!

Hey @loge18 if linked to the same EA account then you are going to run into issues like this which we can't do anything about except recommend that one of the accounts be unlinked but doing so will result in a loss of all items, progress, etc.
