So I was having the same problem. I would start the game up and would have zero audio(headset and TV). All I had to do was hard restart my Xbox One S. Held down the power button for 10 seconds until the light turned off. I then unplugged my power cable for about 10 more seconds. Plugged it back and turned it on and now it works. Hopefully this helps!
i can't believe that this game is still broken jesus christ all mighty is nobody doing anything?you don't even have the decency to come on these boards and let us know what is happening that is pure ridiculous but hey at least you have fixed the part where we can spend cash thank god for that the game would play really badly if we couldn't pay for coins eh?what about you give us a little update and stop this * from getting right on my fuking nerves
that doesn't work glad it did for you but not for me tried it several times to no avail
Has this problem still not been sorted?!
Ive tried every tint and solution that been given in this thread and from other posts related to this problem!
This is not a Console problem.
EA is this an error on your end or Respawn?
Can we get an update?
@EA_Atic The issue is still ongoing for me. I will be out of the country for 2 weeks if you ask for any additional troubleshooting steps.
I've done some more testing and still have been unable to communicate in-game with teammates on my xbox one x. I have tried enabling and disabling the voice to text options while adjusting the volume sliders to see if they help at all. Still unable to hear any in-game audio.
I have downloaded and played the game on PC and am able to talk with players in-game without any issues.
I can't see the issue being with the game as it seems to be impacting a small amount of players.
To My Fellow Players:
Please post up your current setup to see if we have a common product that could help narrow down the issue.
Type of Xbox, Type of Headphones, 3.5mm input or Optical, or any other peripherals used
I have an Xbox One X, Using Astro A40 TR Xbox Edition with the Mixamp, I use the Optical connection for sound and its set to Sonic Audio in my sound settings. I have AT&T U-Verse as my provider.
Simply saying It doesn't work, Doesn't help narrow the scope of possible rationale for the issues we share.
I have an xbox 1S a pair of some @play (brand) headphones with a 3.5mm input and it's broken for me too
i found a fix for me... i reset the audio settings and then it worked (ONCE!)... now it's broken again
Voice chat is STILL NOT WORKING!!! What the flyin' fux?!? This is supposed to be a squad based game, what's the point if you can't communicate with your squad? I'm trying not to be mad because the game is free, but come on this is ridiculous.
I have played at least 50 games, every game hoping that it'll just start working, yet I've had only 1 single game where I could hear my teammates. I see their icon all the time, but no sound. I switch over to play COD, and it's working perfectly. EA..... WTFF?
I've followed all suggested fixes in this thread and a few others I was able to find in other threads on the net. Why is this not working? Someone, please give a fix that you KNOW will work.
EDIT: I am on original Xbox One, using cheap in-ear headphones through the 3.5mm jack on controller. Spectrum is my provider.
- Same problem
- So I rang the EA help line and they told me it was a one-off problem and then told me they had technical problems and could not help me !!!!!!!!
