Why did the weekly challenge sets stop coming after week 13?

While I was playing on Apex Season 3, the weekly challenges (the ones where you can earn the Battle Pass levels and 6,000 XP), the new sets stopped coming after week 13. The next week under that still said unlocks somewhere under 7 days. But when it finished counting down, it didn't unlock. The timer would just start over again. What happened?
