Why didn't i get the pack opening after i bought a heirloom?

I just got super lucky and got an heirloom after like 50 packs. I bought tha bloodhound heirloom, but i didn't get the animation of it opening up and showcasing what i got. That kinda made the experience kinda bad. I hope this doesn't happend if i get another heirloom.
