Why I started From Bronze 2 Instead of Bronze 4?

This happened in season 10 too, but I couldn't find answer here via google search so left it to later and forgot it. Now this season happened again. Im just curious because Im a player worse than average. Its not like i was top player so it was reward to me etc.

I just played 1 game with gave me +5 pt from early die.

    Hey, you're not always reset to Bronze 4, you're deranked a tier and a half down from where you were.

    So you would have been in Gold 4 to get pushed back to Bronze 2.

    Of course for those Silver 2 and below, the reset is to Bronze 4 as that's the start point.

    Thank you for answer. Yes I was gold 4. But I read in a lot of place as" you always restart from Bronze 4" thats why I was confused. Thank you for answer again. Have a nice day.

    Edit; Is that means higher ranks like Plat or Diamond starts from Bronze 1 or Silver?
