Why was my Apex account progress reset after linking my account?

on 29april i opened the game. It asked me to verify my account and link it. it has never happened before. the game was not opening without linking the account. as soon as I linked the account, my progress was lost my level got reset to 1 and lost all my skins and agents and battle pass. Everything got reset. I have provided my screenshots of playing hours and all the achievements of the game of please check this on my steam account. please reply as soon as possible.

    If you were asked to link an account just before that progress and content was lost, it sounds like that may have been linked to a different account than the one that originally earned that progress. That is saved to the EA account itself, so removing that link will cause this loss of progress to occur.

    If you recall another account that may have been used in the past, you can try to unlink and re-link the account on your end. Re-linking the original account would restore that progress for you.

    If you're not sure of another account, don't have access to it, or run into any issues with that process, please contact support directly so they can take a look for you.

    It not be the same apex account just linked EA one or something I think your best option is to contact EA especially if you purchased anything so you can get your stuff back if you did lose it
