Starting today (Friday, March 17 2023) the game refuses to launch on Steam and EA. If the game wants to start, the Easy Anti Cheat launcher will open up and Apex will launch. It will load the initial animation, then just quit out when it hits Octane. The only thing that I can think of that changed was some forced Windows Update overnight.
I've updated my Adrenaline drivers, verified integrity/repaired, reinstalled on Steam, performed a clean boot, performed a cold start (power off, power cut to PSU), installed the EA Launcher, reinstalled Apex from there and disabled all overlays (Adrenaline, Discord, Steam, EA)
I even removed some GTK3 runtime present on my computer for some random other program.
The best I get is that after any system reboot, the first boot of the game will make it to the "Click to login" screen before crashing. It doesn't matter if I click or wait a bit.
Zero errors are reported, I cannot find a single log. The only log I can find is the one from installing the game via the EA launcher. The game won't even give a popup or warning sound.
As per the DxDiag report, my specs are beyond adequate, and there are zero updates to be had for any piece of software on my computer. Windows, Adrenaline, Steam, EA, Apex, EAC, Radeon Drivers.
Removing the assets folders from %userprofile%\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex just causes the game to simply not start up. What assets folder can I nuke and attempt to have rebuilt? That's the very last thing I can think of.

After downgrading my Graphics Drivers to Adrenaline 23.2.2, I can force the assets to rebuild from scratch. The game now gets past the video, if I don't have the -novid flag set, and I can get into the lobby, where it will then crash instead. Still silently, with no logs or error dialogue. Launching from Steam and EA
