So this is what it says when the game is launched at the sign in screen, when I click sign in i get the loading symbol but then nothing happens and says sign in again, I quit out didnt fix it, and reset my xbox and that hasn't fixed it either.
[UPDATE] I just hard reset my Xbox and now I can't even sign back in to Xbox Live, this * game essentially bricked my console.

Hey everyone I am an Xbox player and it's Sept. 2020 I just had this error and I did my research. Changed my DNS server manually to the Google servers found online 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and hard reset my console. The game is working fine now. Have a good day!
Tried many things on this issue... the one thing that fixed it is completely deleting your username from your Xbox... I was able to access the game on my boyfriends Xbox through my gamertag but, he couldn't on his. It was saying 0 downloaded in the bottom left hand corner of the loading screen so we knew it had nothing to do w the game install. Completely delete the gamertag from your Xbox and re-add it and log in as a new user on your Xbox with your gamertag that you always use.Seems like the game for some reason stopped recognizing his gamertag as logged in. Fixed it though.
