Apex Legends – Voice/Text Chat and Squad Issues

I need help with an issue affecting my Apex Legends account.

The issue started around June. Since then, I see the message: “Voice and text chat aren't available for your account.” I cannot use my microphone, hear teammates, or use text chat. After matches, I also cannot form squads with other players and only get the option to queue solo.

I have had my account for 10 years and never had this issue before. My account is set as an adult on both PlayStation and EA, and there are no penalties or restrictions in my EA penalty history.

I have checked my communication and privacy settings. This only happens in Apex Legends; other online games I play work normally.
