2042 permanent ban on pc

Hello everyone.

so i have been banned on battlefield 2042 last friday may 2nd. The cause is that EA claims i was cheating. I have never cheated or even know how to cheat or buy software or things like that to cheat on any game. I disputed it with the EA team and not 12 hours later they stayed true to their word and kept me banned. I disputed this issue again with them and they still are not budging. Ive been a loyal fan to Battlefield since battlefield 4. I love playing this game and dont find a reason to cheat when i just like being a skill based player. I even asked the team who was viewing my case to tell me what it is that i was supposedly doing and they wouldnt. I have attached 3 replys from EA where the first is them banning my account. Second is where they deny my dispute. And third is after i disputed twice they rejected it again. HELP PLEASE!

  • Hi there. We're not able to help with bans over the EA Forums. It sounds like you've disputed the bean twice so far. You can submit one more if you like. Unfortunately, they won't be able to go into detail on what the cheating activity was though.

Running a VPN is not cheating. If it was then evey streamer would be banned. Plus battlefield does not use a skill-based matchmaking system so therefore the VPN would be useless. I only had the VPN on because I was playing a different game and then shut the game down and forgot to turn it off. Plus there's no mention in EA's terms and conditions that vpns are banned

"SBMMOFF is a specialized VPN service tailored for Call of Duty players, designed to manipulate the game's matchmaking system by altering the perceived location and connection type of the player. This approach aims to place players into less competitive lobbies, often referred to as "bot lobbies," by exploiting the game's Skill-Based Matchmaking (SBMM) algorithms."

While SBMMOFF offers tools to influence matchmaking, its use may be considered against the terms of service of some gaming platforms. Players should be aware of the potential risks and ensure they comply with all relevant policies when using such services.

    You're literally confessing you're a cheater dude 😂

That might be it, most routers nowadays have dynamic ip

but logging several times from different parts of the world might be seen as suspicious activity.

maybe if we had the option to choose server manually this wouldn't be a problem anymore

  • Lads I believe running a VPN is the reason for bans. I was running sbmmoff forgot to shut it down after playing cod,

If player believe it was unfair Isn't that our right to know what's the reason for that ban? I would demand answers myself because i know mistakes happen and also A LOT of mistakes by EA anticheat who ban legit players lately.
