Any reason Console players (Xbox X/S here) can't type in chat box waiting for game to start at squad screen while we wait for players? Also... would it be possible to turn off chat box in options or hud mover to move chat box where we want it or make it smaller etc.?

If you are on PC, "H" key cycles thru chat options. Not sure what console is.

I'm on a PS5, and that annoying box I've reduced it down to a tiny box but its still an annoying and seems to serve no purpose for console players.

The lack of the chat box was one of the reasons I moved from PS3 in BF3 to PC in BF4.
