- @udidit71 No, you have to let them be gunner.
There's never been direct orders to squad in the command roses like halt/hold position etc for this thing. - @GinsuMoose Cause that'd make sense.
I agree, there should have been a command rose for that purpose.
Guess I'm thankful we have bots at all, they appear to sync their attacks, move as squads, drive pretty decent etc. I enjoy them a lot.
- @udidit71 Yes, but it's only temporary. AI will give up their seat to you. The best way to keep them from using it in the first place is to stay away from them. If you drive near them they will jump in.
Can't you use Q to tell them to get out?
If not then just hot swap seats. I just fast switch from F1 to F2 and they usually don't move far.
@ReddogukI'm on Playstation, but I've tried that and they just ignore it. I think that's meant for live players than AI.
- Jesse1654 years agoSeasoned Ace@udidit71 You do know that normal people will do the exact same thing? Especially if you are not driving it at the time.
If you are doing it to unlock vehicle attachments than let the AI be your gunners instead of you. You will still get the same progress for their kills as well 🙂 - BigShottt4 years agoSeasoned Ace
@udidit71 This happens constantly and is a huge irritation about the AI. Also, the lack of an AI commander in solo/coop (or ability for player to be commander) is causing the bot play to not be so good. It has some balance issues and so do the maps.
- @Jesse165 Tried letting them shoot for me, I can do better blindfolded. And as far as letting them drive while I shoot? Well the only thing worse than their shooting, is their driving 😆

The only way I found was to get out of combat with your vehicle, create a new squad and then try to stay at the spot
