If i were to get comically worked up about the game, that would probably be close to my own rant.
But just about all the points in that video have been echoed here by testers *long* before launch, including things said about how HZ would turn out (granted, that was guesswork, it just sadly turned out to be more or less correct) and to just keep specialists in that mode, old classes/movement/gunplay, etc etc.
We have what we have, seeing as this has been a running opinion battle now since 4 came out (re; catering to other franchise ideas rather than refining their own) it's been enough battlefields since 4 to see that they've either wanted to change it up or it's simply not the same staff anymore and the game reflects that (another point brought up repeatedly here over the last few months)
My only real gripe even now after having put quite a few hours into the "finished" product is really just the initial marketing.
They can do what they want with the game, I'll either like it or not and play accordingly (much like 1 and 5, ie; not much if i don't) but the initial marketing for both core and portal was 100% a "look, we're going back to the old stuff you liked so much" and what came after not only wasn't, but it was obvious as could be it was never intended to be, and that will cost them my pre-order from now on as the last of the credit built up from 1942 to BF4 is now gone after 1/battlefront/5.
(and to be clear here, i don't think 1 and 5 were garbage as many think, i just disliked how the play/guns/movement started turning more and more CoD-like, if i wanted to play that I'll play that, same with 2042 and the hero shooter thing)
Either way, up to them now, at this point I'd be happy if they un-borked most of the infantry weapons and toned down the vehicle spam a bit, if nothing else so i could make up my mind about the game without knowing i'm "fighting" the game trying to test it out properly.
