First of i will say that it feels that there are no point becures ea or dice never give respons. But I give it a try.Why was the clan tag option removed? In all battlefield games u could have clantag. The clan base was a huge part of battlefield games. Its sad that battlefield Are destroyed.I really hope that clan tag will come back to battlefield againg.And what went wrong in the idea of have server rotation and not map rotation???Look at bf 2 bf 4 bf 5. There where almost perfect in all ways. Then look at battlefield 2142...Its like that the entire team of was drunk and high when making the game. Why ruin a working concept?I dont know if the tag works. But really like if ea or dice could respon to this and give some explaination.@eahelp@Dice

Managed by us, set to private, protected with password, in an organized way.Try to figure out why this is not an option anymore.But that was MANY years ago, when we were younger. Now we are all >40, many of us over 50 years old, slower and most of the time we are lucky if we can fill two squads.But indeed, the sole motivation many of us now have to play Battlefield is to chat with each other via TeamSpeak WHILE playing a game at the same time. We also try our best to be good at the game, but even with 8 or so of us we still lose if we are in a bad team. You can't win a game with 8 average players, even if they are organized and communicating and even if we are the best squad. Maybe we are just too bad. But to be honest, the ONLY reason to play is the friends to play together with. On my own I would NEVER play Battlefield. But this is not the fault of BF2042 as this was the same for older titles. It is a game that you play together with friends or not at all. I am aware that many players out there have a different view. This is mine, but I share that view with most if not all of my clan mates.

@ElliotLHYeah I think the positives for having clans definitely outweigh the negatives and they were always a big part of BF over the years.If they do go ahead and add in a server browser (hopefully in Season One ) I think there will be a big demand for them to add clan support.

It could be that support wasn't added in due to time constraints but that may be incorrect, and another factor might be to blame.I did think that maybe the complaints about clan-stacking in the previous games may be a factor, but considering tlhow hard it is to play with more than a handful of friends, without faffing around anyway, probably negates that.

@WingSlayer1982 Because a game released in the year of our lord 2022 has the least social features of any game in the series, pretty much. It's another "legacy feature" that they will likely need months to build.

Yeah wohoo awsome time.
Probely it would be like this
"We have heard you, and Are playing to put in clanbase in upcoming update "
2 months later
"We have decided to delay the clantag option with 2 months"
And gives no more info what so ever.
It was like that it went with scoreboard.
I really love how they maked it sound like they where giving the gamers a whole new thing (scoreboard that have been in battlefield from the first one)
This is how they lose gamers and Even hardcore fans.

@WingSlayer1982 I'm not sure as I feel that platoons are a largely positive aspect of the series. It could be that support wasn't added in due to time constraints but that may be incorrect, and another factor might be to blame.

I did think that maybe the complaints about clan-stacking in the previous games may be a factor, but considering tlhow hard it is to play with more than a handful of friends, without faffing around anyway, probably negates that.

it should probably still be in the game. personally i never liked clans as they were pretty * to deal with in regards to them just coming into a server and pubstomping it. didn't make for a great game experience for someone who doesn't want to be in a clan with (in my experience) a bunch of people with a fratboy attitude towards others. plus the way the game is constructed right now how would you even keep a clan together on the same server? once you got them there you'd have to do it all again after the game ended cause the server gets disbanded.
tl;dr: it's been a thing and should be allowed. the way the game is set up it wouldn't work now (no persistent servers, can only keep 4 people together at a time). clans resorted to pubstomping way too often instead of playing other clans

@DuaneDibbley Yep agreed with that. Maybe it would be a max-party-size for the different sized games. 32 players max = 4, 64 players = 8, 128 = 16. Which means that no more than a quarter of the total team players (assuming all on the same team) will be possibly cooperating.
