this is a huge problem that needs to be fixed. The game starts to go bad then if you stay you get perma screwed since you will be outnumbered until the other team wins.I suggest a player timeout ---if you bail on your team in the first 5 minutes that game your account cannot join another match of any type for 5 minutes maybe 10 minutes.If you bail after the first 5 minutes you have a to sit out of matches for 2-5 minutes.If you join a match in progress and decide to leave within 5 minutes no harm no foul. If you leave after 5 minutes 2-5 min no match timer.if you do leave within 2 minutes and join another match and leave that match 10 minute no match timerJust a suggestion to fix what I see as one of the large never spoken about issues.

@Dalizar Ah yes this old argument...we seem to have this very thread pop up on the forum with every new BF entry. There is nothing you can do to stop this as this doesn't have a ranked competitive mode where your ranking goes up and down with losses or penalties so people will come and go as they will.As others have accurately stated there are legitimate reasons to leave games and if you institute a penalty people will just AFK and be a bigger detriment to your team.

My understanding this weekend will be rough I believe it’s doing a free weekend on steam so expect poor performers and other awful things going on.

And punishing people because of this will be the end of the game. People will stop playing if they get punished for leaving.We should have server browser and squad/team management options in the game. So if the server is unbalanced you can switch teams or manage your squad. Now we have no options… the only option is to leave the game, so thats what people do.

Don't blame this on the players that leave the game, just because EA/DICE decided to release a unfinished product.

Well people who are on a losing team deciding to either switch sides or leave is an ongoing issue in all online competitive unlocking style games. It's been going on since the beginning of when people first started playing together online. Everyone in competitive wants stats and extra xp, Why lose when you can just leave? Same as the cheating & exploits issue...also been going on since forever.
I do agree with another poster who mentioned that adding back a proper server browser which shows connected players & current scoring for the servers, would be at least a help and likely lessen these occurrences...but it still won't stop it thats for sure. it will never stop really.

@Dalizar Lets be honest the majority of players dont care about ranked/non ranked server (including me). they are playing for fun.. if there is no fun they leave.. so you can panish those players which will cause more players to leave this boring game..

Honestly the only reason that I would quit the match at the end of the game pretty much is because I have noticed that everything earned sticks before the end of the match and quitting out allows me to matchmake faster than listening to the quips and reading the useless stats that the squad screen would give, not intentionally leaving the team if the game is lost/losing, more so I have little time to play during the week and want to make the most of it, having to wait 3 minutes at the end of a match to go into another one is ridiculous to say the least.
