Unfair ban in Battlefield 2042 — Please help!

I had already started the third line, and in the end, it was all for nothing…

Boosting in against rules in most games, maybe that's why you are banned. I hope they started giving ban to boosters

So if I’m playing alone against bots on a private server I created through Portal, is that considered a violation? Since the game’s launch, I’ve barely played with other players, because at 30+ years old it’s difficult for me to keep up with highly skilled players and still earn experience that way. I purchased the game at full price on release, and since then I’ve spent about 95% of my time playing with bots. And now, today, I get banned for that…

I understand that you might interpret my situation differently or judge it based on the personal experiences of other people, but in my case it’s very clear: I was playing cooperative mode with bots. I was also playing alone with bots on my own password-protected server created through Portal.

If you were doing matches heavily modified for XP Farming than that is probably why you were banned. Especially because of how many XP Farming servers there are right now making it impossible for people to do other Portal Matches.

I would occasionally play Bot Matches as well however I never heavily modified them or anything else that would be blatant XP Farming. This is probably why you were banned while others like me who didn't do any XP Farming servers were not.

If you truly were just doing normal Bot Matches that were not heavily modified for XP Farming than those at EA will be able to verify that and I would agree with you that you shouldn't be banned for that.

However if you were doing those XP Farming servers than I would expect the Ban to stay at least for now.  Would wait to see if you will be able to play Battlefield 6 or not when it releases. 

Thank you for your information and for taking the time to explain the situation. I’ve been trying all day to defend my account like any honest person who feels they have been treated unfairly. I’ve already reached out to many people, including those with an audience, but most likely they won’t respond, as they might consider it trivial, and who am I for Vince Zampella or Elon Musk to help me? It might even seem funny from the outside, but I’m not ready to lose access to my account for something I didn’t do.

But did you by any chance visited boosting server. I don't judge you, just curious

Leave the  server open my man...no on ever joins and if they do you have some competitition for a few rounds.  Why password protect, that may be your folly.  Tell them in the reponse email that you will always leaave the server open so others can join.  Since its your server if it ever did fill you will have a  little fun for that sesssion or just shut it down.  Lesson learned if thats the reason.  Leave it open no one ever joins.  I have about 10 maps created and when I run I leave it open easy way to learn the maps in the beginning.   

Good Luck I hope they just count your days off as your punishment.   I totally get where you are coming from but I started at BF Vietnam/ BF2 our group is all in our 50's and we have no problem keeping up.  I am sure you would do just fine sometimes the AI are i n super mode and better than the live players....Give yourself a little credit I  am sure you would be just fine on the  gen pop sesrvers,
