- Lady_One2 years agoNew Ace@MackTKau The TOR could 1shot regular aircrafts, the result of this is TORs sitting at their spawn shooting enemy air as soon as it spawned, which is objectively bad balance. It can still 1shot helicopters that are <~300m away (280 for attack, 330 for stealth/nightbirds I believe?)
- Lady_One2 years agoNew Ace@Wargame_Enj0yer You're not killing any half-decent aircraft with AA missiles; not only that, a decent jet player will fly straight up above you after their first strafe, since the wildcat can't aim straight up, the cylindrical lockons won't do much about that.
- CPU_UK2 years agoSeasoned Ace@Wargame_Enj0yer They seem hell-bent on breaking the game, it's like they want us to quit!

@PrecisionWing Anyone who camps with the Wildcat will lose the game for their team.
It's that simple.I welcome these changes because the Wildcat previously was too weak HP wise, now it might actually survive long enough to fight against an attacking aircraft.

@S3SSioN_SoLTurret HP is most likely what governs your turret getting damaged/disabled, not the actual wildcat HP. So a single nightbird AGM will likely no longer disable the turret. There isn't any mention of attack helicopter TOWs or its gunner, so, that raw damage's not changing. Still 35 damage per TOW (and to other vehicles like the MAV too), plus ~20 from the gunner, nevermind the anti-vehicle rocket pods that are also better against infantry than the anti-personnel pods.
- @S3SSioN_SoL Camping or not camping, Wildcat gets melted either way from out of it's effective range by aircraft. DICE does not understand the current meta.

Reminds me of BFV where planes could fire their rockets towards AA turrets while being out of reach for them.
DICE just loves pilots - it’s been that way for years.
- IIIWhiteWolfIII2 years agoNew AceThere are jet pilots who manage to hit me between the two rocks where I'm hiding even though I'm on foot. Especially on rooftops, they hunt down snipers like birds. Can't they hit a vehicle? Now buildings are safe, not the terrain.

Funny how an infantry player can spawn in on a beacon or a team-mate and then get immediately wasted by an enemy, but happens to air and everything gets nerfed.
The tankiest vehicles in the game are airplanes lol. You can hit them with RPGs, railgun shots, tank main gun rounds, a belt of 30/35/40 ammo, or hit them with a 50mm explosive round and they just ignore it and fly away. - Man_iLoveFishing2 years agoSeasoned Ace
So i read nb and jets being pain for wildcat but yet again question is, why arent you using aps sentinels?
And yeah nb deals great amount of damage with 2 first rockets, yet reload time is so slow for next that if you repair cat with just hitting repair, my new reloaded agm wont be enough. And while i get my 4th missile, you have thermal smoke again. I really do understand nb with 20mm, but yet its bad choice going against air. Even infantry tanks 20mm well.
Edit: With small practice, you can deploy aps sentinels under 1-2 second. So, hoovering nb wont do anything in that time.
