Is there a reason I'm getting this after an update to BF2042? I tried reading and doing everything, but nothing works.
I can log in to Origin and online and see my purchase.
I've tried fixing, reinstalling.
Literally everything, nothing works...
Especially as I've been playing for years.
at the end of it after putting in details I get this saying computer not online
Have I had my game hacked???
Was the game purchased on Steam or EA store?
Not purchased via Steam, was purchased via EA store
Try deleting the license folder.
C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License
Create a backup of the folder just in case you need it for some unforseen reason.
Is it possible that you have/had two iterations of the game previously installed on that machine? Maybe a trial version, and then another version? I had similar issue and went to my desktop icon and right-clicked to properties to make sure the path was using the correct non-trial version. This fixed my issue. Best of luck.
