EA Anticheat Team@ZUHJ97 FC25 and BF2042 are running the same version of EA anticheat, I don't believe these issues are related to EA anticheat, the reports of stuttering and freezing impacting that title have been limited to only online modes, and EA anticheat runs regardless so we wouldn't have made that difference.

It's been said countless times that the problems appears in both online and offline game modes. Issues of stuttering and freezing also appeared in BF1 the moment after you updated anti cheat there, and I've read about people having the same issue in BFV.
