Audio drops out entirely throughout entire PC

So when i boot the game, i get maybe 5 seconds where i can hear audio in the main menu before it cuts out my device entirely and not just within battlefield its my ENTIRE PC, all sounds from system and any other apps. I use XLR headphones through a scarlet amp so i think battlefield may be having issues with it as if i switch to my speakers it works just fine and audio comes back but if i switch but it all cuts out again. Ive tried updating drivers and lowering the bitrate through my headphones but the issue prevails

Yeah, a simple "we are aware of the problem and will look into it" from someone affiliated with EA would be nice.

  • I use a Focusrite interface and have had a similar issue. For me, I may randomly lose sound during the middle of  a play session (not necessarily at the beginning). And for me it appears to only be affecting the game as I can still hear my squadmates on Discord. Rebooting the game fixes it when it does occur.

Next time try to unplug or disconnect your headset and then plug/connect it again.

It happened the other day and I tried disconnecting the headset, disconnecting the audio interface, and switching to my computer's speaker output, and none worked.
