@Pega5u5 What brand and type motherboard do ya got ?
Ya did flash bios to the latest bios version, cause ya use an intel i9 14th gen cpu <- with volt, wattage, amp and temp issues.
I also see a Razer Orbweaver Chroma <- this type of product did cause issues in the past with BF2042, disconnect it , reboot system and test without this product the bf2042 game.
Sometimes there can be an issues with multiple monitors connected to your system, cause of resoltuion and Mhz settings, cause the GPU driver and windows issues ! <-- test game with minimal hardware connected (also disconet usb drive).
Update us please.
Cheers
ps a cleanboot to check if any other software causing some issues , can help to:
reboot pc by a clean boot:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows-da2f9573-6eec-00ad-2f8a-a97a1807f3ddHide all Microsoft services, DISABLE (uncheck) ALL other processes, apps and services !
I suggest doing a clean boot first to isolate and identify the application that is causing the issue.
A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.
- In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results.
- On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all.
- On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.
- Under Startup in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then select Disable.
- Close Task Manager.
- On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it's in a clean boot environment.
Ps dont deactivate ea app background process and the EA AC process, else game will not launch at all.
