@Rokebo73 I could flip that around and say, why should I not be able to decide what is being stored in my Documents folder? I don't want non-user generated crap there, it's for MY documents. Simple as that.
The reason that the people here advising you against using OneDrive or disabling it or using Revo uninstaller etc etc is becuase most of these people do not have a life outside gaming. They do not have important documents, they do not understand the signficance of backing up documents to cloud storage (OneDrive) in this regard. The Documents folder is for documents and not for Cache, but they won't get it because any attempts to "fix" it would require them to make changes out of their comfort zone. Today is the first time I played Battlefield and immediately noticed that it filled by OneDrive, hence I landed on this forum trying to find a fix. If my documents are not backed up due to Battlefield, then playing this game is not worth the risk hence I will raise a chargeback and uninstall this game for good.

I would think real heard before doing a charge back. EA considers a charge back fraud and will freeze your entire account. - 2 years ago
Cache is no more located in Documents folder but in C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Local\BattlefieldGameData.kin-release.Win32\cache
Thanks for this. - RayD_O12 years agoHero
