Battlefield 2042 micro stuttering when running

@Max1boyI have noticed thought that since changing broadband the ps5 is running a lot better. But this is over wifi and now I have more bandwidth so could have been related to that previously! But it had no effect on pc and I am wired in! I really don’t know what else to do as it’s every single game usually when you are half way through a match and then when it’s the end of the game. Sometimes at the beginning as well!! This happens on even low settings with DLSS performance where gpu is like 50-60 percent usage. Everything is always green in draw fps and only thing that seems to cause it is that that TN count time nudge. But that could also be a red herring and throwing us in the wrong direction. It’s so bad there is no specific support or response from EA or dice when this thread is absolutely huge now!

I have had multiple forums on this and it’s defo the game. Internet if full fibre and I use a 3080 with 12700k and 32GB ddr5 and I get the stutter all the time in game especially with time nudge counter. When I do draw fps it’s always green and this happens regardless of settings and resolution. Clean boot has been tried with same result. Full windows reinstall is tried with same result. Windows 10 with same result. Windows 11 with same result. @EA_Atic can you please update us with what’s happening and any response from dice. Also for me the majority of the stutter is when my character is running. It feels like slight rubber banding but it’s super annoying. I have tried every work around solution under the sun now. This is also the only game I have issues with. I even upgraded my ram today for 64GB ddr5 and same issue. Thanks

i712700k with 3080 so do not think the CPU spike in the above video would be the cause and it’s exactly the same situation as @Max1boy and my video looks identical to his but even worse when running! Can you please update us as we have been waiting over a year now for a fix.

have dice acknowledged this or looked into it?

I already made a post on the Lost Ark forums, but they couldn't help me fix it so I hope that maybe here there is a fix.

This took a few weeks to figure out and I started a thread (Stutter after exactly a minute after last update 1) a while ago but I finally found out what has been causing my annoying stutters.

To show what the problem is, I have already made a comment with examples of what is happening: Stutter after exactly a minute after last update - #36 by krabby12 2

So basically EVERY 60 seconds I get 3 or 4 small freezes/stutters. This started right after the clown update. I couldn’t figure out what it was until I tried other games that use EAC and ALL of those games have the same problem. Some of them even kicked me out sometimes like battlefield 2042 or hell let loose. But this was not every time. The only thing that happened in all the EAC games was those 3 stutters.

I did also send an email to EAC but so far I have not gotten a response.

So far I tried:
turning off almost all background programs
Repairing EAC for all games.
Reinstalling EAC for all games.
Deleting EAC folders from everywhere and validating the games.

Note: the other games that had this problem and use EAC were: Chivalry 2 and Tom Clancy's The Division 2

I am actually out of ideas of how to try and fix this. My last option would be reinstalling windows which I really don’t like since it’s a lot of work. I will wait and see if I get a reply from EAC.
